Biography
A New Zealand born singer, songwriter, producer based in New York, Livia O is an alternative electronic pop polymath whose observational, conversational lyrics paired with glitchy, experimental sonics are inspired by artists like Bon Iver and The Japanese House.
Livia O takes great pride in being a self-contained female musician who writes, produces, and performs all of her own music. She sold-out her debut headline show at The Wine Cellar in New Zealand, and has played across the world at venues such as Muchmore’s in New York, and Most Wanted Music in Berlin.
Her debut single ‘Heaven Sent’ coming out on November 27th was created during her time in Berlin and blends electronic dance production with rich choral inspired vocal arrangements, laid over gleaming synths that are equally grandiose as they are heart-wrenching.
